Nearly 250 men attended the 61st Annual Brentwood Country Club/Jewish Federation Men’s Play Day on April 1, helping to raise thousands of dollars for The Jewish Federation’s 2009 Annual Campaign. Young Men’s Chair Andrew Altshule delivered a powerful case for giving that reminded everyone of the importance of their gift to the Jewish Federation. During the evening program, many of the women of the club joined the men to hear guest speaker David Gregory, moderator of Meet the Press. The event was chaired by Harvey Alpert (and also Fundraising co-chair) and Herb Sturman, Men’s Campaign chair.
